Magnolia Business Alliance: an ally for small, medium businesses

Small and medium businesses in Hancock County and throughout the Southeast have an ally in the Magnolia Business Alliance. MBA, a not-­for-­profit corporation, was founded in 2010 by the owners of NVision Solutions Inc. and Aerotec LLC, two local companies. Their goal was to help new and existing businesses grow through mentoring, training, logistics and whatever other support was needed to help them grow. MBA hosts business development workshops on a regular basis and promotes small and medium sized businesses in the community and among elected officials. MBA's main programs are the Enterprise for Innovative Geospatial Solutions (EIGS) which nurtures and supports the growth of the geospatial technology cluster and its Minority Enterprise, which supports minority owned and operated businesses.
