Stennis International Airport hosts ‘Precious Cargo’

June 30, 2015

Stennis International Airport played host to the cast and crew of the action film "Precious Cargo" as portions of the airport were transformed into a working film set earlier this month.  The film, starring Bruce Willis, Mark Paul Gosselaar and Claire Forlani, is filming on location at sites across the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

The new Stennis International Airport Terminal also served as the location for a press conference involving several of the film's stars, including Gosselaar and Forlani, along with Jenna Kelly and Nick Loeb and Producer Randall Emmett.

"This is the second time in the span of a year that Stennis International Airport has served as a filming location for a major motion picture," said Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission Executive Director Ashley Edwards. "With the growing film industry on the Gulf Coast and in Louisiana in particular, we are finding increasing opportunities to market Hancock County as a destination for filmmakers."

Portions of the upcoming film "Midnight Special," starring Kirsten Dunst, Adam Driver, Michael Shannon and Joel Edgerton, were also filmed at Stennis International Airport last year.

"Precious Cargo" is directed by Max Adams.
