Hancock County has a strong tradition of supporting the defense industry. With approximately 50% of county land and water dedicated to NASA and Department of Defense operations, Hancock County hosts one of the largest, most valuable, joint military centers in the United States.

We are deeply proud and supportive of the military and space agency operations here. As the economic development agency for Hancock County, Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission is constantly ready to welcome military and civilian Department of Defense personnel.
