BAY ST. LOUIS, MISS: Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission has completed Warehouse 3 at Port Bienville Industrial Park and welcomed a new tenant, Salacia Logistics & Holdings LLC, into Warehouse 1. These developments represent a significant milestone for Port Bienville, positioning it for future growth and additional capacity to support existing industries.

A newly constructed 30,000-square-foot warehouse, funded by a $2 million grant from the Mississippi Development Authority Port Improvement Grant in 2023, will relocate an existing tenant providing warehouse services for existing industry. This expansion will enhance the port’s ability to meet the growing demands of its tenants and the region’s logistics industry.

Salacia Logistics & Holdings LLC
Port Bienville’s newest tenant, Salacia Logistics & Holdings LLC, will occupy Warehouse 1, a 36,047-square-foot facility. Salacia is a leading provider of logistics solutions specializing in the transport, storage, processing, and packaging of dry bulk materials. With expertise in ocean, river, road, and rail transportation, Salacia is well-equipped to handle a wide range of logistics needs and material types.
As a supplier of high-quality salt products, Salacia offers various options, including de-icing salt, water treatment salt, energy field salt, and agricultural salt. The company provides flexible packaging options ranging from small bags to super sacks and bulk quantities.
Salacia’s presence at Port Bienville will further enhance the industrial park’s capabilities and support the operations of existing tenant, Alpek Polyester.
